When a decision is to be made regarding the removal or not of asbestos containing materials within a building that is stable and not intended for demolition or refurbishment, we advise that the asbestos containing material be encapsulated rather than removed.
Only where a building is set for demolition or expansion such that the asbestos containing material will be disturbed, would we recommend that the material be removed as part of its abatement.
